Zoom or Asynchronous Divination Sessions

In a divination session, you can expect:
Support — Divination can offer targeted support regarding a range of issues, questions, or situations including, but not limited to: life path and purpose, vocation, relationships, creative pursuits, big shifts and changes, and personal and spiritual self-cultivation.
Self-Exploration and Personal Growth — Divination can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, uncover hidden potentials, and identify areas that would benefit from awareness and care. Sessions are always in support of you reclaiming your agency and your inherent right to speak about invisible matters with authority. Divination supports restoration and liberation, activating inner strength.
Decision-Making and Problem Solving — Divination can assist in decision-making processes by offering strategies for discernment. Sessions can help you gain insights into challenges, obstacles, or recurring patterns in your life and suggest courses of action that court positive change.
In a session with Kristen, you can expect a tarot card reading, intuitive divination, and prescriptive magic to help guide you towards clarity and deeper understanding. Kristen may use additional tools such as a pendulum or oracle cards to help answer your questions, and find solutions to conflicting energy in your life. A session is typically 30-45 mins in length and 1-2 areas of inquiry can be covered in depth. Kristen is happy to meet with you live on Zoom, or after a preparatory email exchange about your questions, she can record an asynchronous video of the divination and email it to you within 24 hours of your booked session time.
In preparation for your session, please think about any “areas of inquiry” you want to look into (career, family, romance, and so on). The more detailed your questions are, the more detailed your answers can be. If you don't have specific questions, Kristen can pull a general spread on your behalf and work from there. For live sessions, you can share your questions at the scheduled time. For remote sessions, please send your questions to Kristen at least a day before your scheduled date.
Kristen E. Nelson
Kristen E. Nelson is a queer writer and performer, diviner, teacher, and community builder. Kristen has been studying divination for 28 years and has been working with clients for over 20 years. Her specialties are tarot card readings and prescriptive magic solutions for crossed conditions. She reads primarily from Daughters of the Moon tarot, a feminist interpretation of the Rider Smith Waite deck. Kristen is the author of the length of this gap (Damaged Goods, August 2018) and two chapbooks: sometimes I gets lost and is grateful for noises in the dark (Dancing Girl, 2017) and Write, Dad (Unthinkable Creatures, 2012). She lives in Santa Cruz, California and is pursuing a PhD in Creative/Critical Writing at UCSC.
